Make a bequest
REMEMBER KING STREET ARTWORKS IN YOUR WILL
A gift in your Will helps ensure KSA Art Workshop can continue providing creative opportunities for our community into the future.
Your Will is one of the most important documents you will prepare. It allows you to decide how your assets are distributed and offers the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy.
Many people donโt realise how simple it is to include a charitable gift. Creating or updating your Will is straightforward, simply speak with your lawyer or the Public Trust for advice.
A bequest (or legacy) is a gift written into your Will to support an organisation you care about. It can be:
- A specific sum of money
- A percentage of your estate
- Property or real estate
- Valued items such as artwork, jewellery, or investments
If you wish to make a gift to King Street Artworks in your Will, it is very important that you use our correct and legally incorporated name (King Street Artworks Incorporated) and the following wording:
‘I bequest the sum of __(or_______% of my estate or _% residue of my estate) free of probate and estate duties to the King Street Artworks Incorporated for general purposes. I declare that the receipt of the Chairperson of King Street Artworks Incorporated shall be sufficient discharge to my trustee.’
