Making art
I haven’t made art in years. How do I start?
Don’t worry. There are three tutors on the workshop floor every day, ready to help you learn what you need to learn. We work at your pace, and there are no hoops to jump through.
Do I need to bring materials?
No. We provide everything you need.
Your work
Can I take my artwork home?
Yes. It’s yours to do as you wish. Some people like to show their work in our gallery, or to wait and show it in our annual exhibition.
Can I sell my work?
Yes. Our focus is on the creative process rather than making work to sell. Any work that sells has a 25% commission, which helps cover the cost of materials. We don’t allow mass production for sale. Please read our [Creating art for sale policy].
