Our gallery space
King Street Gallery adjoins the King Street studio space. Situated in the heart of Masterton in the Masterton Arts Quarter (centered on Bruce and Queen Streets), this vibrant hub features Aratoi Wairarapa Museum of Art and History, ConArt Gallery & Studios, and King Street Artworks.
Inclusion
Inclusion sits at the heart of what we do. We aim to create opportunities for all artists to take part, regardless of experience, background, or ability. Our exhibitions reflect the same welcoming and supportive environment found in the studio.
We strive to remove barriers to participation and ensure that every creative voice has the opportunity to be seen and valued.

For audiences, group shows offer a rich and varied experience, reflecting the creativity and individuality of the wider community while celebrating art as a collective, inclusive practice.

Experienced staff are on hand to guide the process every step of the way, providing a safe environment for individuals to share their work, develop their practice, and connect with an audience. These exhibitions recognise each artist’s unique voice, offering a sense of achievement and visibility that can be both motivating and affirming. They also help strengthen connections within the community, inviting people to engage with and support local creativity in a meaningful way.
